The new and energy-efficient UNIVERSAL motor from NORD DRIVESYSTEMS extends the motor portfolio for the most important world markets such as Europe, USA, Canada, China or Russia. It has CE, UL, CSA, CCC, EAC, ISI and UA certifications, and is available with a power range from 0.12 to 45 kW. As standard, the UNIVERSAL motor is equipped with a temperature sensor (TF).

The new generation of NORD IE5+ synchronous motors are manufactured in-house for use in intralogistics as well as in the food and beverage industry. Our motors feature a compact and hygienic design in a very small space and thus ensure high corrosion resistance and easy cleaning. The permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) is optionally available as an nsd tupH or IP69K version. The motor-integrated encoder is standard and an integrated mechanical brake is optional. By using the motor, the number of versions and operating costs are reduced. It is compatible with all gear units and frequency inverters from the NORD modular system.

NORD Smooth Motors are produced in-house and are available in various sizes. Thanks to their wash-down design they can be used in hygienically demanding environments. This drive solution is also available as an nsd tupH version. We also supply the motors in the permanent magnet Synchronous Motor versions and with smooth, easy-to-clean housings. Use of our high efficiency Synchronous Motors with permanent magnet technology ensures low operating costs. In addition, the drive solution can be simply and flexibly combined due to full compatibility with the NORD modular system. Simplified control of applications is possible thanks to almost constant motor speed
