Corken 691 – LPG Reciprocating Compressors (Non Oil-Free)
Single packed compressors are typically used in non-toxic, non-corrosive applications where oil-free gas and leakage containment are not critical. LPG (propaneย &ย butane), agriculturalย ammonia, and natural gas applications are where a single packed compressor fits well.

- Why select aย compressor to transfer LPG and NH3? –ย Many LPG piping systems do notย provide ideal NPSH conditions forย liquid pumps. As a result, the poorย NPSH conditions lead to excessiveย pump maintenance. Since compressorsย are only exposed to vapors, they are notย affected by poor NPSH conditions. Aย compressor is the perfect solution forย transferring liquids to and from tanksย with unloading connections on the topย (e.g. tank cars and underground tanks)
